Custom brand-new Engine Cover Lid,- Carbon Fiber look - LED Lighting assembly for the Audi R8 (V10 only- all years). This engine plate is constructed of automotive grade ABS that has been hydro-dipped to achieve the carbon fiber look seen in the pictures, it features a remote controlled LED light assembly with 8 colors, and different settings (flickering-fading effect, flickering to music /engine reving...etc) it comes with easy to replace metal mesh inserts in 3 colors (Black, Red, Chrome), a custom R8 badge and color installation instructions. Installation is 100% DYI, no wire splicing or modification is required. (See FAQ for more details)

Is this item battery powered? No, the unit plugs directly to the alternator, detailed installation instructions are included
Is professional installation required? No, basic tools and skill level are required to perform the installation, there is no wire splicing or modification of OEM equipment
Will this item drain my battery if I forget to turn it off? The LED assembly is low voltage, I have purposely left the system on for periods exceeding 120hrs of continued use with no significant drainage of battery charge.
Will this plate / LED assembly work with V8 variants? No, this item is specifically designed for the V10 platform
Do I need any additional hardware to install it? No, everything you need is included and color instructions have easy to follow step-by-step directions.
